At Cornell:  A very solid baseline player who uses her powerful forehand to set up points, Cruite’s backhand has great versatility and can create amazing angles from both sides.  She is an extremely hard worker, fit and a mentally tough competitor.  Cruite had a 5-3 singles and a 2-3 doubles record in the fall.  She made it to the finals of the B flight singles at the Cornell Fall Invitational and is currently a captain on the team.  Cruite is enrolled in Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.  At Charlotte: A two-time winner of the Scholastic Award at Charlotte HS, Cruite was also a two-time MVP and champion in her school’s district and regional championships.  Personal:  Dana Marie Cruite is the daughter of James and Marlene Cruite.
