Biography

Leong is among one of the top recruits for the Big Red coming into the 2009 fall season. She could emerge as a starter as a freshman. She is steady from the baseline and surprises her opponents with a powerful punch. She has shown the ability to pass well and make a lot of balls.

Prior to Cornell
Leong was a captain for two years and won an Inter-school Tennis Championships.

Personal
Geraldine Kwan Ning Leong is the daughter of David Leong and Amy Hui and she has one older sister. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
