Sophomore Season — 2013-14
Kung was 2-12 in singles during dual-match play and was tied for the team lead in doubles victories with an 8-7 record. Both of her singles victories came from the No. 5 position, coming against UMBC's Josefin Stange-Jonsson and Army's Elle Taylor. Kung appeared in doubles most often paired with Dena Tanabaum. The duo had a 5-3 record for the season, including a four-match winning streak in non-league play. Kung was also 0-3 in singles and 1-2 in doubles in non-scoring tournaments.

Freshman Season — 2012-13
Kung was a perfect 3-0 in singles dual matches, all coming at the No. 6 position during the team's Spring Break trip to South Carolina. She breezed to 6-0, 6-1 victories over Coastal Carolina's Vanessa Ortiz and College of Charleston's Irene Viana, then defeated NJIT's Carolina Zanotta, 6-3, 6-3, two days later. She saw more action in doubles, posting a 6-5 mark in dual matches from the bottom two positions. She teamed with classmate Dena Tanenbaum to go a perfect 4-for-4 in No. 3 doubles matches. She later competed with junior Ryann Young and senior Sarah O'Neil in three Ivy League doubles matches. ... Kung was also 5-3 in non-scoring matches, advancing to the 'B' semifinals at both the Cornell Fall Invitational and Cornell Winter Invitational at Reis Tennis Center. She was 3-3 in non-scoring doubles matches.

Prior to Cornell
Kung was a four-year captain at West Broward HS, helping the team finish second in the state during her freshman year while winning a state doubles title. She was a member of the National Honor Society, Math Honor Society and Science Honor Society. Kung is most recently ranked 123rd in the country in her recruiting class, but was tabbed as high as 74th in February.

Personal
Christy Grace Kung is the daughter of Ching and Amy Kung, and she has an older brother and older sister. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
