As a junior (2017-18)
Dual season
• 8-9 in singles from bottom two positions in order.
• Even 3-3 in Ivy League play with straight-set victories in matches against Dartmouth and Yale.
• 7-13 in doubles as team's most frequent entry at No. 3.
Fall tournaments
• 0-4 in singles and 3-2 in doubles.
• All but one doubles match came alongside Ananya Dua, with the duo winning two of three matches at the Bulldog Invitational.

As a sophomore (2016-17)
Dual season
• 1-1 in singles and 3-1 when paired with Madison Stevens in doubles.
• Singles victory was dominating 6-0, 6-0 performance against opponent from Niagara.
Fall tournaments
• Did not compete.

As a freshman (2015-16)
Dual season
• 10-1 in singles and 2-0 in doubles.
• All 10 singles victories came in succession during non-league play from Feb. 14 to March 20.
• Lone loss came in only Ivy League appearance against Columbia on March 27.
• Both doubles victories came at the No. 3 spot — one paired with Mariko Iinuma (March 12 vs. Niagara) and other alongside Madison Stevens (March 19 vs. Marist).
Fall tournaments
• 11-1 in singles and 7-3 in doubles
• Team-leading 11 singles victories included titles in 'C' Bracket at the Cornell Invitational and 3rd Singles draw of West Point Invitational.
• Also won 'B' doubles bracket of Cornell Invitational with Madison Stevens, and advanced as far as Round of 16 at the USTA/ITA Northeast Regionals competing with Dena Tanenbaum.    

Prior to Cornell
• Ranked in the Tennis Recruiting Network’s Top 100 list and tabbed second in both state of Washington and Northwest region.
• Classified as four-star recruit by TRN, spending time in top 70 of the USTA rankings in 2014.
• Member of National Honor Society and recipient of AP Scholar with Honor Award.
 
Personal
• Michelle J. Wang is the daughter of Zhenxin and Zhongming Wang, and she has an older sister.
• Enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the SC Johnson College of Business.
