2022-23 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Registered a 6-7 overall record in singles (2-4 in dual matches) and was 3-11 in doubles matches (2-7 in dual doubles) ... won first doubles match with Tanya Fan against NJIT (Jan. 22) ... logged first collegiate singles win over Niagara's Mercedes Velasco on Feb. 5, dropping just four games in the straight-set victory ... conceded just one game in straight-set win in final singles match on April 1 against Binghamton.

Played two seasons of tennis at The Beacon School where she aided program to earn PSAL NYC championship.

PERSONAL
Sofia Petrova Iantosca is the daughter of Michael and Isabela Iantosca, and has a younger brother ... both her played collegiate athletics at Pepperdine with her dad playing water polo, and her mother played tennis while earning a pair of All-American honors before going on to play professionally and win four ITF titles (one in singles, three in doubles) ... enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
