At Cornell
Freshman (2013): After missing nearly all of September with an injury, Campbell played in 12 matches (41 sets), including 10 Ivy League contests, during her freshman season. She finished the year with 91 kills (2.22 per set) and hit .152 for the Big Red. Campbell posted double-digit kills four times, with a season high 15 at Columbia on Oct. 26. In that game vs. the Lions she also had a career-high nine digs and tallied two blocks and one service ace. For the season, Campbell tallied 39 digs, 13 total blocks, five service aces and two assists.

At Mira Costa HS
Campbell lettered twice at Mira Costa high school, where she was named All-Area Bay League second-team in 2011 and 2012, as well as All-Bay League first-team in 2012. She helped her team earn a bronze medal in the 2007 Junior Olympics in the Open Division and was a Midwest Jr. Olympics qualifier champion in 2009. Campbell’s team also won the L.A. Jr. Olympics qualifier championship in 2010. As a member of the Sunshine Volleyball Club, she won numerous medals at various beach tournaments through the CBVA, AAU and AVP junior tours. Campbell also participated in track and field for one season.

Personal
Grayce Nicole Campbell is the daughter of Paul and Cathy Campbell and she has an older brother and an older sister. Her cousin, Swedish boxer Ingemar Johannson, knocked out Floyd Patterson in 1959 to win the world heavyweight boxing title and was later named the Associated Press Male Athlete of the Year and Sports Illustrated magazine's Sportsman of the Year. Two other relatives – her uncle Richard Campbell (track, Penn State) and cousin Paul Asher (volleyball, San Diego State) – also participated in collegiate athletics. Campbell is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
