PRIOR TO CORNELL
A setter from Lehi, Utah, Nevaeh comes to Cornell after a standout career at Lone Peak High School. She helped lead the program to three Utah 6A state championships (2022, 2023, 2024) while earning four years of varsity experience as a setter and defensive specialist. Nevaeh recorded more than 1,000 assists and 500 digs during her prep career and was recognized as an All-Star Senior in 2026. In the classroom, she earned honor roll distinction and academic recognition each year of high school. She also competed for Club V Volleyball, serving as a team captain throughout her club career. Her club accomplishments include a third-place finish at the USA Volleyball National Championships in 2021 and a fifth-place finish in 2025.

PERSONAL
Nevaeh Hung Tien is the daughter of Heather and Marc Tien and has one brother, Timothy, and three sisters, Trinidy, McKenzie and Alexis. Her sister, Trinidy, also played volleyball and attended Cornell. Nevaeh is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences and plans to study classics while pursuing a career in journalism. A native of Lehi, Utah, she was born in Provo, Utah.
