Justin Valentine is the athletic trainer for men’s basketball at Cornell.
Valentine is a 2020 graduate of SUNY Cortland, where he earned his degree in Athletic Training. During undergrad, he worked as a student athletic trainer with the Big Red football team for its 2019 fall season. Following his undergraduate degree, Valentine spent 2021 working as a certified athletic trainer at a high school in the Binghamton area. He then joined the Big Red as a graduate assistant athletic trainer in the fall of 2022 and is working with the men’s basketball team. During his graduate assistantship he is working on his master's in Exercise Science with a concentration in Mental Performance from Ithaca College.
He has been a NATABOC certified athletic trainer since 2021.
