As a senior (2019)

• Garnered All-Ivy League honorable mention to become program's first three-time All-Ivy position player since Brian Billigen '12.
• Appeared in all of team's 38 games, including 30 starts at catcher to go with part-time duty at third base and designated hitter.
• Led team with six home runs, 10 doubles, 19 RBI, 43 hits and 71 total bases.
• Ranked second on team with a .299 average, including a team-best .293 mark in Ivy League games.
• Ended season on team-best 11-game hitting streak, capped by a 3-for-5 performance with a home run and three RBI in season finale May 7 at St. Bonaventure.
• Led team in games with multiple RBI with five, and tied for team lead in multiple-hit games with 10.
• Had team's only five-hit performance, going 5-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored April 3 at Army West Point.
• Posted team's only five-RBI game, hitting two home runs — including a walk-off three-run shot in the ninth inning — in an April 28 victory against Penn.
• Twelve of 19 RBI came with two outs.
• A perfect 6-for-6 in stolen base attempts.
• In Ivy play, led league by catching eight attempted base-stealers.
 

As a junior (2018)

• Placed on the All-Ivy League second team for a second straight year, but this time as a third baseman.
• Ranked second on team with .308 average and seven stolen bases as one of three players to start all 37 games.
• Was team's primary third baseman with 27 starts, playing the other 10 games at more traditional position behind the plate.
• Team's leading hitter in Ivy League play with .369 average, which ranked fourth in the league and tops among regular third basemen.
• Tied for third-most hits in Ivy League games (31).
• Hit .413 in team's 16 home games.
• Had consecutive three-hit games April 4 vs. Canisius and April 7 vs. Yale.
• Had 10-game hitting streak from April 14-29.
• Was 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and four RBI in April 24 victory at Binghamton.
• Had singles in four consecutive innings May 12 vs. Columbia.
 

As a sophomore (2017)

• Selected as lone catcher on the All-Ivy League second team.
• Led the team with a .610 slugging percentage while batting .317 across 22 starts and 24 appearances. Had 11 games with multiple hits despite the limited action.
• After playing just three games in March, took advantage of an opportunity to become the everyday catcher and also saw time at first base down the stretch.
• Ranked second on the team with five home runs and 28 RBI, despite only having 82 at-bats.
• All nine of his doubles came in Ivy League play, where he batted .344 from the middle to lower portion of the order.
• Led the team with a .424 average with runners in scoring position.
• Was 2-for-5 with a grand slam, five runs scored and five RBI in an April 5 win at Towson State.
 

As a freshman (2016)

• Forced to sit out due to an injury.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Four-year starting catcher for Glenbard West HS.
• West Suburban All-Conference, Daily Herald All-Area and Suburban Life All-Area selection for both his junior and senior seasons.
• Earned Perfect Game All-America honorable mention in 2014, and was given Perfect Game All-America Central Region team honorable in 2015.
• Member of the National Honor Society, French Honor Society and an Illinois State Scholar.
• Four-time West Suburban Athletic Academic Team selection.

• William Cole Simoneit is the son of Jamie and Katie Simoneit, and he has a brother and a sister.
• Enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
