ITHACA, N.Y. -- "Nathan Ford's arm looks pretty strong."

What Ivy League coaches have known for three seasons, the rest of the nation heard about last night on an episode of the highly acclaimed comedy "The Office." The hit NBC show featured a Halloween episode (episode 506 of season 5, "Employee Transfer") that included a mention of the three-year starting quarterback of the Big Red.

Dwight Schrute, played by Rainn Wilson, decides to claim Cornell as his own alma mater despite the fact another worker in the office, Andy Bernard, actually graduated from East Hill. It infuriates Andy, played by Ed Helms, who decides to interview Dwight for admission. During one scene, Dwight enters the coffee room and asks Andy what he thinks about this year's upcoming Cornell-Penn football game and comments that "Nathan Ford's arm looks pretty strong." After Andy responds that he's had a good season so far, he continues to berate Dwight for claiming he is a Cornellian.

While the episode revolves around that storyline, the Nathan Ford scene comes at the 5:45 mark. You can watch the full episode on NBC.com at the following link. http://www.nbc.com/The_Office/video/episodes/?vid=800181#vid=800181
