ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell men's basketball team opened a promising 2009-10 campaign off the team's home floor, beginning not with madness, but instead with practice at Ithaca College's Ben Light Gymnasium. The Big Red went through a two-hour workout on Friday afternoon under the direction of Steve Donahue. Cornell is coming off a 21-10 campaign that included the program's second straight Ivy title and NCAA tournament trip.
