Errick Peck has been named the Ivy League Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week after helping Cornell to a pair of victories this past week. He joins senior
Ryan Wittman, a two-time Player of the Week selection, as weekly award winners for the Big Red.
Peck averaged 6.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks off the bench for the Big Red. His big effort came in Cornell's 104-98 overtime win at Bucknell, posting a career-high 13 points to go along with three rebounds and two blocked shots in just 12 minutes of action. He added a rebound and an assist in nine minutes vs. Saint Joseph's. For the season, Peck is averaging 3.2 points in just 7.1 minutes of action.
Peck and the Big Red will have two weeks off before competing against Davidson in the first game of the Madison Square Garden Holiday Festival on Sunday, Dec. 20 at noon.
