ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell freshman forward
Shonn Miller has been named the Ivy League co-Rookie of the Week award it was announced today by the league office. His first varsity appearance was enough to catch the eye of the league after a solid opening effort at St. Bonaventure.
Miller connected on all three of his field goals, including a 3-pointer, and added a team-high four rebounds in Cornell's 79-58 loss to the Bonnies on Friday evening. He added a blocked shot and a steal.
The 6-7 forward shared the award with Dartmouth's Jvonte Brooks.
Miller and the Big Red open its home schedule tonight against Binghamton at 7 p.m. at Newman Arena in Bartels Hall. You can watch the RedCast feed at http://www.CornellBigRed.com/showcase.
