ITHACA, N.Y.-- The Big Red women's squash team lost to No. 4 Harvard, 8-1, on Saturday morning in Ithaca. At the No. 3 position junior Rebecca Hazel defeated Harvard's Emily Park, 3-0. The Crimson is a perfect 4-0 overall for the season and has defeated three Ivy League opponents to sit at the top of the Ancient Eight leaderboard.
The women's team continues to be competitive with the top teams, as the top of the order for Cornell played very solidly, with
Shivangi Paranjpe (No. 1) and Jen Gemmell (No. 3) both losing closely contested matches.
The Big Red women will break for the holidays, and will play its next match on January 9th, against Bates at the Yale Round Robin.
