No. 19 Kansas State Shuts Out Volleyball

MANHATTAN, Kan.—
The Big Red volleyball team dropped a 3-0 match to No. 19 Kansas State on Saturday morning at the Varney's Kansas State Invitational. Cornell will return to action this evening when it will face Northern Iowa at 6 p.m.

The Wildcats (9-1) defeated the Big Red in three sets, 25-19, 25-17 and 25-9. Cornell (0-2) was led by Juliana Rogers who notched 10 kills and eight digs. Sophomore Erin McCarthy had eight kills, while senior captain Hilary Holland had 23 assists and six digs.

Kansas State was led Rita Liliom with 12 kills and Megan Farr with eight. Sarah Allison led the Wildcat defense with four blocks.
