Cornell (6-15, 3-7 Ivy) jumped out to an early 5-2 lead in the first set, but Harvard fought back to tie the game at 6-6 off a pair of kills by Anne Ingersoll. The Big Red responded with back-to-back kills from Juliana Rogers and Pula and benefited from some Crimson errors before a kill by Kelly Hansen put the visitors up, 12-8. Four unanswered Harvard points knotted the game again at 12-12. Cornell took another slight lead, 17-14, but a 7-2 scoring run put the Crimson on top, 21-19. A kill by Cekauskas, followed by a Crimson attack error tied the game at 21-21, but Harvard scored the final four points of the set to win, 25-21.

The Crimson jumped out to a commanding 7-2 lead in the second set before a kill by Pula and a service ace from Misse got the Big Red into the contest. Cornell eventually tied the game at 8-8, thanks to a kill by Rogers followed by a service ace from Zheng, but Harvard responded with a 9-1 scoring run to take a lead it would not relinquish on the way to the 25-17 victory.

The third set was dominated early-on by Cornell, which received three kills from Misse, two from Tatum and one from Zheng en route to an 8-2 lead. The Crimson fought back, slowly chipping away at the Big Red advantage until it knotted the game at 12-12 on a Durwood service ace. With the momentum on its side, Harvard took its first lead of the game on the next play and then used a 12-3 scoring run to push its advantage to 23-15. Pula ended the run with a kill, but it was too little, too late, as the Crimson ended the match with a 25-18 win.

The Big Red is back in action next weekend, as it returns home to play host to Princeton on Friday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m., and Penn on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 4 p.m. Cornell will celebrate Senior Day vs. the Quakers, as it will be the final home game for Jessica Misse, Megan Mushovic and Juliana Rogers.
