NEW HAVEN, Conn.—The women's tennis team lost at Yale, 7-0, on Friday afternoon. The Big Red moves to 6-11 overall and 2-2 against Ivy opponents. Yale improved to 12-5 and 3-1 Ivy.
Yale swept singles play, and with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles won the point. At No. 3 doubles, Elizabeth Googe and Ruxandra Dumirescu teamed up to win 8-7 (3) against Lilian Nguyen and Stevi Petrelli.
Cornell will play at Brown on Saturday afternoon.
