ITHACA, N.Y. -- Both the men's and women's polo teams return to action this weekend with the men playing host to Skidmore on Friday and visiting Connecticut on Sunday, while the women will play a home-and-home with Skidmore on Saturday and Sunday. The women will attempt to remain unbeaten and the men will attempt to upgrade their regional ranking with a rematch against the Huskies a week after suffering its first loss.

The women, currently at 3-0, have outscored opponents 84-11 in those games and will now face a Skidmore team it swept a pair of games from a season ago. The Big Red leads the all-time series 72-7-2 after earning wins of 23-6 and 16-10 at Oxley Equestrian Center. Cornell will host the Thoroughbreds on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Oxley, then head to Saratoga Springs on Sunday at 2 p.m.

The men are 1-1 after falling to UConn 18-17 last weekend at Oxley. The team will attempt to get back on track when it faces Skidmore on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at home. The Big Red earned a 30-4 victory over Skidmore to extend its lead in the all-time series to 62-8. UConn then raced out to a nine-goal lead before holding on for the one-goal triumph, but now the Big Red will attempt to even out the season record when the two meet on Sunday at 2 p.m. in Storrs, Conn.
