ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell men's polo team kicks off the 2026 USPA Division I national championship tournament when it faces Virginia in the semifinals on Friday, March 20 at 5 p.m. at Prestonwood Polo & Country Club in Oak Point, Texas.
The semifinal winner will face either North Texas or the winner of the Texas A&M/Kentucky play-in game in the national finals on Sunday, March 22 at 2 p.m. All matches will be broadcast live on USPA Polo Network.
Longtime rivals Cornell and Virginia have played to a pair of one-goal contests, with the Big Red claiming a 10-9 victory to win the UVa Polo Fall Tournament in October, followed by the Cavaliers topping the Big Red 18-17 in the championship game of the Bill Field Invitational in Ithaca in November.
The Big Red enters nationals looking to snap a two-match skid, most recently a 25-15 loss to Marlan Farm on March 14. Fourth-year head coach
Anthony Condo Jr. has guided the Cornell men to a 43-20 overall record (.683) and the 2024 Division II national championship.
