Men's Squash Earns 7-2 Victory Over No. 7 Dartmouth, Advances To Consolation Final

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Cornell men's squash team swept the final four spots on the ladder and claimed a 7-2 victory over seventh-ranked Dartmouth to advance to the consolation finals of the CSA championships on Saturday evening. The Big Red will face Harvard on Sunday at 3 p.m. for fifth place in the final national rankings. Cornell is 10-6 this season after the win.

Chris Sachvie earned a 3-1 win at No. 2 singles to get it started, while Arjun Gupta swept through No. 3 and Thomas Spettigue rallied from an 0-2 deficit for a 3-2 win at No. 4. Other winners included Rishi Jalan at No. 6, Chris Vernick at No. 7, McKay Claghorn at No. 8 and Owen Butler at No. 9.
