ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell lightweight rowing team will not compete in Saturday's scheduled regatta for the Matthews-Leonard Cup at 2:30 p.m. in Philadelphia, Pa. The event will not be made up this season.

Cornell will return to action on Saturday, April 16 at 8:30 a.m. when it plays host to Princeton and Saint Joseph's University on the Cayuga Lake Inlet. The winner of the Cornell-Princeton race will be awarded the Platt Cup, first awarded in 1964.
