Athletic Ticket Office Website

ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell Athletic Ticket office has announced the process to purchase season tickets for the 2011-12 men's hockey season. Tickets will be sold online at www.CornellBigRedTickets.com from Monday, Sept. 19 to Thursday, Sept. 22. Seat selection and ticket distribution will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23 in the Ramin Room of Bartels Hall.

This will be the second year in which a lottery will not be used to determine seat selection. The order in which students purchase tickets at www.CornellBigRedTickets.com will determine the seat selection order.

Undergraduates who have purchased tickets in past years and graduate students will be given priority to purchase tickets in a weighted system. The sale and determination of seat selection order will be primarily conducted online at www.CornellBigRedTickets.com, though tickets can also be purchased at the Athletic Ticket office.

All students may purchase up to two tickets. The selection order will be posted on www.CornellBigRed.com in the afternoon of Thursday, Sept. 22. Students must then bring their Cornell ID cards to the seat selection event the following day.

As in years past, students may elect to sit with friends by falling back to consecutive spots in the seat selection order. There will also be general admission tickets available in Sections A, E and F.

The cost for 2011-12 season tickets, which includes 18 games, is $234. More details about ticket sales will be released at a later date. For more information, e-mail athletictickets@cornell.edu.
