Several cities and counties in upstate New York — including Otsego County and the City of Oneonta — remain in a state of emergency following yesterday's heavy rain, and more precipitation is expected today in Oneonta and the surrounding area.
Following consultation with athletics, facilities and other personnel from both campuses, the presidents' decision to cancel this year's event was made in the interest of safety, particularly of those attempting to travel to the tournament from the south or east.
