Complete All-America List

ITHACA, N.Y. – Putting a cap on an already tremendous season, junior forward Daniel Haber got even more terrific news on Friday afternoon as he was named a First-Team All-American.

Haber, who led the team with 18 goals and 43 points, also led the country in goals per game (1.06) and points per game (2.53). His scoring prowess – including five game-winning goals – helped the Big Red to its first Ivy League title since 1995 and its first NCAA Tournament berth since 1996.

Cornell has not had a First Team All-American since defender Kip Jordan in 1973 and has not had any player make an All-America team since Rob Elliott made the second team in 1996. Cornell's last First Team All-American who played forward was Nikos Alexandridis in 1967.

Haber, who was also named a semifinalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy, had a historic season for the Big Red.

Haber, a Toronto native, is also the only Canadian player to make any of the three All-America teams.

Haber is the only First Team All-American from an Ivy League school this season, while Brown's Dylan Remick made the second team. His 43 points was second-best in school history, behind only Victor Huerta's 47-point year in 1972. Haber's 18 goals were also tied for second in a season in team history. His five game-winning goals – including three in Ivy League play – is the second-best in Cornell history, and his seven assists tied him for seventh ever for the Big Red.

The junior, with one year left in his Big Red tenure, is moving up the career lists as well. He is just 19 points, 12 goals and 12 assists shy of first place in team history.

In November, Haber was named to the All-Ivy First Team and was the first men's soccer player ever at Cornell to win the Ivy League Player of the Year award after helping the team to a 15-2 finish. He also won the Ivy League's Player of the Week award a record five times during the season.

Haber and the rest of the All-America winners will be recognized at the annual All-America Luncheon in Indianapolis on Jan. 19.
