NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The women's squash team finished a perfect weekend at the Yale Round Robin with a 9-0 victory over 12th-ranked George Washington. The sixth-ranked Big Red swept three matches at the event, all against teams currently ranked in College Squash Association's B Division.
 
Cornell (9-1) did not surrender a single point over the weekend, including a clean sweep of three-game victories on Sunday in which the opposition didn't score more than eight points in any individual game. Freshman Abbey Foster won her match at the No. 4 spot, improving to 9-0 on the season. Seniors Jaime Laird and Maggie Remsen also won all three of their matches on the weekend.
 
The Big Red defeated 11th-ranked Middlebury on Friday, 9-0, before a rare 7-0 victory over 13th-ranked Bates on Saturday. Freshman Reut Odinak won the No. 7 match on Friday to improve to 7-0. The matches at the No. 8 and No. 9 spots were not contested in the match against Bates.
 
Cornell has pivotal matches for CSA National Championship seeding upcoming, first taking on fourth-ranked Rochester at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27 before returning to Ivy League play at noon on Saturday. Feb. 2 with a match at eighth-ranked Dartmouth.
