ITHACA, N.Y. – Cornell won all four team and individual events and the Big Red won its first dual meet of the year with a commanding 188.675-176.525 victory over Cortland on Saturday afternoon at Teagle Gymnasium.

Big Red gymnasts finished 1-3 on three events, and even placed the top five finishers on bars. Melanie Jorgensen was the top scorer on the event (9.700), then finished second on beam behind teammate McKenna Archer. Archer scored a 9.675 on beam, while Jorgensen scored a 9.525. Archer tied with Sarah Hein for second on vault (9.600) and posted the top score on floor along with teammate Kennedy Prentice and Cortland's Courtney Mangini (9.750).

Cornell went 47.450 or better on vault, bars and floor, but had to count two falls on beam. The Big Red's top event score came on floor, a 47.950.
