ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell men's polo will attempt to extend its win streak to three when Kentucky visits Oxley Equestrian Center on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m.

After opening the year with consecutive losses to defending national champion Virginia and the Maryland Polo Club, the Big Red bounced back in a big way against Northeast regional rivals Connecticut and Skidmore last weekend, outscoring its foes 65-24.

Senior Nik Feldman has a team-high 39 goals so far this season for the Big Red, including 22 in Cornell's last outing, a 37-14 triumph over Skidmore. Ignacio Masias Uranga has started all four matches and has scored 22 goals, while Nicholas Stieg has 17 goals in three matches.

Cornell leads the all-time series 7-2 dating back to the first-ever meeting between the programs during the 1987-88 season. The two teams last met in March of 2012, a 16-15 Wildcat win.

The Big Red men's polo team has reached the national championship game six times since 2004 under Eldredge, who has amassed an impressive 398-168-8 record (.700) in his 28 years on the sidelines with the men. Cornell has won 19 USPA Eastern Regional titles and has advanced to the national championship game 35 times with 11 national titles.
