Natasha Rowland finished with a match-high 20 digs to move into fifth place all-time on Cornell's career dig list, surpassing Big Red Hall of Famer Debbie Quibell (2000-03; 1,118), but it wasn't enough as Cornell fell in straight sets to Dartmouth, 17-25, 18-25, 20-25.
Sophomore middle blocker
Jasmine Robinson had the best game of her career, hitting .462 with a team-high seven kills and just one error on 13 attempts. She also added two blocks (one solo). Freshmen
Emily Wemhoff and
Maddy Sroufe also finished with six kills apiece, to go along with seven and five digs, respectively. Setter
Alyssa Phelps registered 23 assists.
Dartmouth (12-4, 3-2 Ivy) was led by Paige Caridi with 10 kills, as the only player for either team to reach double-digits. Emily Astarita and Alex Schoenberger tallied nine and eight kills, respectively, as the Big Green trio connected on .274 of their attempts (27-7-73). Stacey Benton registered 22 assists, while Emily Patrick had a team-high 14 digs.
Cornell (3-12, 0-5 Ivy) is back in action next weekend when it travels to Yale on Friday, Oct. 17 and Brown on Saturday, Oct. 18.
