ITHACA, N.Y. – Cornell men's polo takes on the University of Virginia this Friday, Oct. 30 at 8:00 p.m. in Charlottesville. The Big Red are fresh off last weekend's big 23-13 home opener victory over the Skidmore Thoroughbreds.
Cornell sophomores
Ryan Saul and
Dan Shaw and junior Ignacio Masias will start again. Masias scored 21 of Cornell's 23 goals and can be credited with a penalty goal in the home opener. Shaw scored the other goal.
Last year, the Cavaliers and the Big Red met three times with Cornell winning the majority. The Cavaliers edged out the first match 10-9 and Cornell dominated the next two 18-12 and 23-15.
