ITHACA, N.Y. — Due to concerns about possible rain, Wednesday's non-conference games for the Cornell baseball and softball teams have been canceled.

With the mound at Hoy Field not quite yet in suitable condition, the baseball team's home opener against Albany has been canceled. baseball is now scheduled to open its home slate simultaneous to its Ivy League debut, when it hosts Yale at noon Saturday and Brown at noon Sunday in a pair of inter-division doubleheaders.

Softball will also open its home slate with an Ivy Legaue doubleheader when Brown visits Niemand*Robison Field on Friday at 2 p.m., with Yale coming to town Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
