ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell men's polo team will look to build on its early season success with a pair of weekend games. The Big Red opens the weekend on Friday, Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at Oxley Equestrian Center when Kentucky visits, then heads to Harvard the following day to meet Harvard in Cambridge, Mass.

The Big Red moved to 2-1 on the season after topping the Maryland Polo Club last weekend 17-11. Cornell also topped SMU 13-8 to open the season, with the two wins sandwiched around a 12-6 defeat at the hands of Virginia. at the UVa Fall Tournament.

Coming off a 16-4 campaign that included a trip to the national semifinals, Cornell will be eyeing the program's 12 national title. Eldredge has a 457-183-8 (.711) record in his 33 years on the sidelines for the Big Red, including 30 straight appearances in the finals of the Northeast Regionals and 15 consecutive trips to nationals, as well as the 2005 USPA collegiate national title.
