ITHACA, N.Y. --
Kaitlin Green earned a spot atop the podium on bars and
Lyanda Dudley topped the floor lineup, but Temple earned team wins on all four events for a 193.400-191.375 dual meet win over Cornell on Saturday afternoon at Teagle Gymnasium.
Green's 9.775 on bars was good for first, while her 9.850 on beam took second to lead the Big Red on Senior Day. Sophomore teammate Dudley hit for 9.800 on floor to tie Temple's Briana Odom at the top of the charts.
Cornell's team score was its lowest since the opening weekend, but only a rough day on beam created separation from the Owls. The Big Red was 47.800 or better on the remaining three events, though the Owls won each. The home team counted a 9.075, a 9.15 and a 9.275 on beam, allowing Temple to win the event 48.325-47.025.
The Big Red will visit Towson for a quad meet with Brockport on Sunday, March 12 at 2 p.m.
