BURLINGTON, Vt. – The No. 18 Maine field hockey team improved to 6-0 on the season with a 5-0 win over the Big Red this afternoon at Moulton Winder Field in the opening round to the Catamount Classic. Cornell (1-4) will return to action on Sunday when it plays the host Vermont at 1:30 p.m.

The Black Bears, currently ranked second in the nation in goals per game (4.2) continued its hot streak with five different players finding the back of the net. Nina Keur scored and added an assist, one of four on the day for Maine, to lead the team with three points.
