ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell men's and women's polo teams welcome some of the top collegiate teams in the nation when they host the Bill Field Invitational beginning on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at Oxley Equestrian Center. The men's final will be held on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 11 a.m., while the women's championship is set for 1 p.m.
 
The women's tournament will include six teams – Cornell, Kentucky, Skidmore, Southern Methodist, UConn and Virginia.  The Big Red opens the competition on Wednesday at 5 p.m. when it meets Skidmore. Cornell aims to avenge a 16-13 loss to the Thoroughbreds earlier this season. UConn will face Southern Methodist in the second match of the day at 7 p.m. Winners from Wednesday's contest will match up against either Kentucky or Virginia on Friday, Nov. 22.

The men's field features four teams - Cornell, Skidmore, Southern Methodist and Virginia.  Cornell opens play for the men at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11 against Southern Methodist prior to Virginia meeting Skidmore at 7 p.m. Winner from each match on Friday will play in the finals on Sunday.

Losers from each match will conclude play on Saturday, Nov. 23 with the women playing at 3 p.m. and the men playing at 5 p.m.
