ITHACA, N.Y. – Cornell wrestling hosted the Cornell Open from Barton Hall on Sunday, Nov. 24, welcoming wrestlers from Army, Binghamton, Bucknell, Buffalo, Long Island, Lock Haven, Presbyterian, Rutgers and Sacred Heart. With each weight class featuring 1-3 divisions, Cornell took home 11 of a possible 19 first place finishes.

In total, Cornell's champions won 33 matches with bonus points and earned 23 wins by fall in those 33 bouts. Wilson and Darmstadt led the team with four pins each and Loew earned himself a spot on Cornell's all-time fastest falls top 10 list with a :15 second fall that ranks tied for ninth all-time. Loew pinned three opponents on the day, totaling a combined one minute on the mat in those three victories.
