ITHACA, N.Y. -- Here are some notes from Sunday's 90-59 loss at No. 20/21 Penn State.
 

Individuals 

  • Freshman Greg Dolan matched his career scoring high of 8 points, while his three rebounds and two steals also tied personal bests.
  • Junior Terrance McBride was credited with five assists and just one turnover, the eighth time in his career with at least five assists and one turnover or fewer.
  • McBride posted his seventh double figure scoring game of the season (in 11 games) after recording just five over his first two campaigns (57 games).
  • Junior Jimmy Boeheim's 17 points was his ninth consecutive double figure scoring game.
  • Sophomore Kobe Dickson had five of his six rebounds on the offensive glass, joining Jimmy Boeheim (eight at Coppin State in 2018-19) and Steven Julian (five at Towson in 2018-19) as the only Cornell players with five offensive boards in a game over the last three seasons.
  • In limited opportunities, freshmen Greg Dolan (57 percent, 4-of-7) and Marcus Filien (67 percent, 2-of-3) are 6-of-10 from 3-point range on the season after hitting 3-of-4 against the Nittany Lions.
  • Senior Josh Warren saw action in his 99th career contest.
     

Team 

  • Cornell shot .421 from beyond the arc, its second-best percentage in a game this season (.423 at Bryant).
  • The Big Red has posted at least 10 assists in all 11 contests this season and in 14 straight games overall.
  • With its eight 3-pointers, Cornell has now made a trey in 871 consecutive contests dating back to the 1988-89 season.
  • Cornell is now 6-75 all-time against top 25 teams, including 11 straight losses.
