MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- For the second straight weekend, the Cornell gymnastics team surpassed 193.000 in a meet as the Big Red took fourth against a nationally-competitive field on Sunday afternoon at WVU Coliseum. Cornell ended the day with a 193.075 in a meet won by Utah State (196.075), with the host Mountaineers (195.575) and Pittsburgh (195.100) rounding ou the field.
Izzy Herczeg led the charge for the Big Red with a fourth-place effort on floor with a 9.875 while also collecting a top 10 finish on beam with her 9.700.
Christina Luniewicz finished ninth on bars (9.800), while
Donna Webster posted the team's top vault score with a 9.750, settling in 11th overall.
Cornell heads to Philadelphia for the 2018 Ivy Classic at The Palestra on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m. The Big Red took second overall a year ago in Providence, R.I. with a 194.350.
