ITHACA, N.Y. — Junior forward Morgan Barron and senior defenseman Yanni Kaldis were named to the All-ECAC Hockey first team, the league revealed Tuesday afternoon. The Big Red also had two representatives on the third team in junior goaltender Matthew Galajda and junior defenseman Alex Green.

After leading Cornell in scoring for a second straight season with 32 points on 14 goals and 18 assists in just 29 games, Barron becomes the Big Red;s first foward to earn first-team honors twice since Joe Nieuwendyk (1986 and 1987). He was named a finalist for ECAC Hockey Player of the Year earlier this week. Already a four-time pick for the All-Ivy League first team, Kaldis earned All-ECAC Hockey first-team accolades for the first time in his career.
