ITHACA, N.Y. — Junior forward Morgan Barron and senior defenseman Yanni Kaldis have been named to the CCM/AHCA Division I All-American Teams, as announced on ESPN's SportsCenter on Saturday night. It marks the first time since 2010 that Cornell has had multiple All-America honors.

Barron was placed on the East first team after leading the Big Red in scoring for a second straight year. The ECAC Hockey Player of the Year was a selection on both the All-ECAC Hockey and All-Ivy League first teams, and he was the only representative from either circuit to be among the 10 finalists for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award.

Barron is the first Big Red forward to earn All-America honors since Matt Moulson '06 did so in 2005, and he's the first forward among first-team selections since Joe Nieuwendyk in 1987. He is the 10th All-American among Cornell forwards in program history.

Kaldis also earned All-America honors for the first time, having been selected to the East second team. The program's first four-time selection to the All-Ivy League first team, Kaldis was recently named to the All-ECAC Hockey first team for the first time after leading the team with 19 assists, 14 points on the power play and 43 blocked shots.

Kaldis is the Big Red's first All-America defenseman since Brendon Nash '10 during his senior season. He is the 11th All-American among Cornell defensemen in program history.
