ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell men's soccer program earned five All-Ivy League honors for the 2021 season, as announced by the league Wednesday afternoon. Fifth-year midfielder Tyler Bagley was one of two unanimous first team honorees. Bagley is joined on the first team by freshman defender Wilson Eisner and senior forward Emeka Eneli. Senior defender Jonah Kagen and fifth-year midfielder Harry Fuller were named to the second team.

With five selections, Cornell matches its most All-Ivy members since 2013.

It's the first All-Ivy recognition of Bagley's career. Bagley was a breakout performer for the Big Red in 2021, coming into the year with just one career goal to his name. Bagley was twice been named Ivy League Player of the Week and to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week. On September 14th, Bagley was named the United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Week. Bagley finished the season ranked #2 in the country with 35 points on 14 goals and seven assists. His 14 goals ranked #4 nationally. His points per game of 2.19 topped the nation.

A first team selection is the highest honor of Eneli's career thus far. Eneli previously earned All-Ivy honorable mention in 2019 and was the Ivy League Rookie of the Year in 2018. Eneli finished second on the team this season with 21 points on seven goals and seven assists, setting new career-highs across the board. In the Ivy League, Eneli ranked tied for fifth in goals and was tied for fourth in assists.

Eisner is the first Cornell freshman to earn All-Ivy League first team honors since Richard Stimpson did so in 1997. In his rookie campaign, Eisner earned Ivy League Rookie of the Week for Oct. 11 while contributing two goals and two assists. Eisner's six points was sixth on the team in 2021 and was second among Cornell defenders.

A two-time team captain, Kagen made 47 appearances and 39 career starts for the Big Red playing both in the midfield and on Cornell's back line. Kagen has two goals and four assists to his name, scoring his second career goal earlier this season against Colgate. In 2021, Kagen finished the season with one goal and two assists.

Fuller rounds out Cornell's award winners with the best All-Ivy finish of his career. An honorable mention in 2019, Fuller was third on the team in scoring in 2021 with five goals and three assists, good for 13 total points. Fuller led the team in game-winning goals with three and successfully scored three goals on penalty kicks. A fiery competitor on the field, Fuller has 12 goals and 13 assists to his name in 62 career appearances.

Cornell's season ended last Saturday following a 1-1 draw against Columbia on Berman Field. The Big Red finished its 2021 season with an overall record of 11-3-2 with a 4-2-1 mark in the Ivy League. It's the third consecutive season that Cornell has posted 10 or more wins.
