Bagley, Eneli Earn All-Region Accolades In Men's Soccer

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell senior midfielder Tyler Bagley earned first team honors and junior forward Emeka Eneli earned second team honors when the 2021 United Soccer Coaches Men's Northeast Region team was announced. The duo were among 10 Ivy League players honored.

Bagley started all 16 games for the 11-3-2 Big Red, scoring 14 goals with seven assists for 35 points. A unanimous first-team All-Ivy League pick, Bagley finished the season ranked No. 2 in the country in scoring, while his 14 goals ranked fourth nationally. His points per game of 2.19 topped the nation. Bagley was twice been named Ivy League Player of the Week and to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week, and on September 14th earned United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Week accolades. Bagley had four multi-goal games on the season, including two goals and an assists in an overtime victory over UC Santa Barbara. He also notched a goal and three assists in a win against Harvard.

Eneli joined Bagley on the All-Ivy first team , as the 2018 Ivy League Rookie of the Year finished second on the squad with 21 points on seven goals and seven assists, setting new career-highs across the board. In the Ivy League, Eneli ranked tied for fifth in goals and fourth in assists. Two of Eneli's goals proved to be game winners, with the junior posting a five-point day against Marist (two goals, one assist). He twice had a four-game streak during the year with at least one point as the Big Red had one of the nation's most dynamic offenses, scoring 2.5 goals per game.
