12/4/2021 6:24:00 PM

ITHACA, N.Y.— The Cornell women's track and field team won nine events including all three relays at Saturday's Greg Page Relays hosted by the team at Barton Hall.

Up against athletes from ESF, Syracuse, Ithaca College, Binghamton, Cortland, Oswego, Buffalo, Cobleskill, Delhi and Oneonta, both new and old faces alike put together solid performances in each event.

Double-winner Leone Farquharson ran a personal best 7.72 in the prelims of the 60m before beating her own record and running a 7.62 in finals for first place— a mark good enough for the ninth-best on the program's all-time list.

Brooke Overholt was also a double winner when she took first in the 300 with a school record time of 39.04. Behind Overholt, Beatrice Juskeviciute ran a 39.96 which comes as a PR and is just outside the top-10 mark.

Later, the 4x400 of Bella Davis, Nia Robinson, Kayleigh Furth and Overholt won the event with a time of 3:52.10. Furth would go on to take second in the 500 with a 1:19.15.

The squad of Amanda Stone, Elizabeth Rene, Zoe Wilkie Tomasik and Clara Harmom won the 4x800 with a time of 9:44.84 and the DMR of Clara Harman, Bella Morzano, Hailey Erkkila and Bella DiPalermo took first with a 12:55.92. Two more Big Red DMR squads (Alyssa Walker, Sydney Smith, Emma Braband and Elizabeth Rene, 12:57.62) and (Zoe WIlkie Tomaski, VIctoria Capobianco, Nina Suss and Brooke Olson, 13:18.11) finished second and third.

Marguerite Lorenzo cleared 5-10.75 for first in the high jump and another Big Red PR to put her at second all-time. Behind Lorenzo were Margaux Rawson (2nd, 5-07.75, CU Freshman record, sixth-best all-time) and Olivia Rodriguez (3rd, 5-06.00) and Monique Anderson (4th, 5-04.50).

Maria Siciliano won the pole vault with a 11-11.75 clearing and Gabrielle Pack came in at 10-11.75 for third.

Leone Farquharson picked up her second win of the day when Cornell went 1-5 in the long jump. Farquharson took first with a 19-11.75, Dea Fackovic-Volcanjk finished second with a 18-01.75, Beatrice Juskeviciute leaped 18-01.00 for third, Jessica Kolesar went 18-00.50 for fourth and Lauren Jones came in fifth with a 17-08.00.

Fackovic-Volcanjk would go on to take third in the triple jump, and Noelle Elkinton took first in the shot put with a mark of 44-09.50 while Juskeviciute followed with a 44-06.75 for second. Phoebe Price-Rober took second in weight throw with a mark of 51-02.25.

Juskeviciute also came in second in the 60m hurdles with a 8.49 clocking, good enough for a new Cornell school record and Ama Boham followed with a 8.64 for third and the program's fifth-best mark.

The Big Red are back at Barton Hall on Saturday, Jan. 8 for the Southern Tier Invite.
