ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell men's polo team extended its win streak to three games with a 19-12 win over Commonwealth Polo, a team made up of Big Red alumni to highlight its Fall Alumni Weekend. Cornell had previously swept Harvard's Intercollegiate (19-2) and Interscholastic (29-1) teams last weekend, with a narrow home loss to Marlan Farm (18-14) earlier that weekend. The Big Red is now 5-2 on the season.

Benito Jaramillo Samper scored 12 goals, Pablo Herrera had four and Patricio Fraga-Errecart posted three in a high-scoring affair against the Big Red alumni. Cornell jumped out to a 4-0 lead, led 6-3 at the end of the first and 10-5 at halftime and the Big Red never looked back.

The Big Red will host the Bill Field Invitational at Oxley Equestrian Center beginning on Thursday, Nov. 17 when it hosts North Texas at 7 p.m.
