ITHACA N.Y. - There was no shortage of scoring as the No. 9-ranked Cornell women's hockey posted a hard-fought 7-6 victory over ECAC Hockey foe St. Lawrence on Friday night at Lynah Rink.

The Saints came marching in with a goal from Kristina Bahl 27 seconds into the game to put St. Lawrence up 1-0.

Van Gelder followed up Bahl's goal with back-to-back goals to give the Big Red its first lead of the contest.
Frechette tacked on the final Cornell goal of the opening period, pushing the Big Red's lead to 3-1.

Kiley Mastel scored for St. Lawrence in the closing seconds of the first period, shortening the deficit, and briefly halting momentum for the Big Red.

Jockims logged two of her three points on the night in the second period, scoring a power-play goal off feeds from Messier and Rory Guilday to give Cornell a 4-3 lead.
