Men's Swim and Dive Move to 2-0 On The Season

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. -- Cornell men's swim and dive earn its second win of the season, defeating St. Bonaventure 148-95. The Big Red finish in 1-2-3 fashion in the 200 Yard Medley Relay. 

Logan Holt, Sebastian WolffJoseph Gurski, and Tanner Will ended the relay in first place with their time of 1:32.13. The next Big Red relay finished just over one second later. Paige Dacosta, Jacob Bass, Jeremy Marcin, and Jack Banks finished in 1:33.86. To complete the 1-2-3 for Cornell, Taylan Ercan, Jack Casey, Andrew Lin, and Mac March finished with a time of 1:37.10.

The Big Red also had the top two finishers in the 3m Dive. Matthew Warren earned a score of 319.35 and Soondong Kim finished right behind him with a score of 314.70.

Wolff secured a first place finish in the 50 Yard Freestyle with his score of 21.21. The top three in the 50 Yard Freestyle all finished within one second of each other in bang-bang fashion, with a Bonnie swimmer finishing between Wolff and Bailey, who finished at 21.70. 

Wolff notched his second, individual first place finish in the 100 Yard Freestyle, ending with. a score of 46.75.

The Big Red saw four other individual first place finishes throughout the day.  Bass earned the top spot in the 200 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:09.06. Joseph Gurski touched the wall in a time of 1:51.40 to seal first place in the 200 Yard Butterfly. Pietro Ubertalli added to the Big Red's points with his top time of 1:51.07 in the 200 Yard Backstroke. Chris Kostelni rounded out the first place winners for Cornell in the 500 Yard Freestyle with his 4:46.44 time.

The Big Red had the top two relays in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with Will Taner, Daniel SimoesJack Banks, and Dominic Edwards ending with a time of 1:25.81. Cornell's next relay, made up of Jeremy Marcin, Logan Holt, Pearce Bailey, and Kyle Pro touched the edge less than a second behind them with their time of 1:26.17.
