Conway Readies For NCAA Championships

ATLANTA, Ga. - Blake Conway gets set to represent the Cornell men's swimming and diving team in the 100-yard backstroke at the 2026 NCAA Championships. The preliminary round is set for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Match 27th at the McAuley Aquatic Center. This marks the second consecutive season that the Big Red will be represented in the 100-yard backstroke at the NCAA Championships.

At the 2026 Ivy League Championships, the Big Red had an outstanding night in the 100-yard backstroke, led by Ivy League champion Conway, who won the event in 45.77 to score 32 points and punched his ticket to the NCAA Championships. "Blake Conway becoming a first time Ivy champ and punching his ticket to NCAAs highlighted a great day at Ivies with so many impressive performances", Wes Newman, the The Philip H.
