STORY LINES

• The Cornell men's basketball team will take to the road to try and stake its claim for an Ivy League Tournament berth when it visits Dartmouth on Friday, Feb. 18 before heading to Harvard for a game on Saturday, Feb. 19.
• Both contests will be broadcast on ESPN+ at 7 p.m.
• The Big Red enters the weekend in solo possession of fourth place in the Ancient Eight standings at 5-5 after splitting a pair of games at home last weekend, knocking off Columbia (88-75) before falling on a buzzer-beater to Brown (81-80).
• The top four teams in the conference compete in the Ivy tournament, making the last four regular season games all critical.
• Cornell will be attempting to sweep the season series from both squads this weekend, having earned home wins over the Big Green (79-71) on Jan. 2 and the Crimson (76-61) on Jan. 22.
• The Big Red is a game clear of Brown and 1.5 ahead of Harvard with the tiebreaker on both teams.
• A win over Dartmouth on Friday would eliminate it from the Ivy Tournament contention, while a victory over the Crimson would give Cornell its second sweep of the Crimson in the past three seasons.
• Cornell, which ranks 10th in the nation in scoring entering the weekend, ranked No. 1 in the country in adjusted pace in terms of shortest average possession time in Division I during the non-conference season.
• The Big Red leads the conference in points per game despite not having a player ranked in the top 12 in scoring.
• The Big Red has shared the ball all season long, ranking fifth nationally in assists per game (18.3).
• Senior Dean Noll has played at an All-Ivy League level in conference play, averaging 14.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.6 blocks per game while shooting 45 percent from the floor and 87 percent from the free-throw line.
• Sophomore Chris Manon, one of three different Big Red players to earn Ivy League Rookie of the Week accolades this season, is posting 13.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 2.0 steals and 0.7 blocks in just 18.7 minutes per game on 53-47-62 shooting.
• Keller Boothby (Dec. 6), Manon (Feb. 7) and Nazir Williams (Nov. 29) are the three Cornellians to earn weekly Ivy rookie honors.
• The Big Red is on a roll offensively, shooting .513 from the floor over its last six games.
