ITHACA, N.Y. -- The storms that hit the East Coast didn't spare the Cornell sailing team over the weekend, cutting short competition at the Navy Women's Team Race on Saturday and Sunday. Boats never hit the water, though Cornell was able to get some racing in on Sunday.
"The conditions were simply too variable to allow for enough racing," said
Brian Clancy, the Ted Moore '71 Director of Cornell Sailing. "This doesn't take away from the competitive racing we did complete, and the ladies sailed well throughout the day Sunday. They have a lot of good takeaways to continue to build on as the spring season moves on."
