CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Eleven top 10 finishes, a school freshman record and a number of new Cornell entries into the top 10 lists highlighted the men's track and field team's efforts at the Virginia Challenge. The three-day meet concluded on Saturday afternoon.

Tomas Kersulis captured third in the finals of the 400 meters in 47.03, taking second behind Virginia's Jordan Willis (46.48) in the sixth section.

Rishabh Prakash claimed sixth in the 5,000 meters, crossing the tape in a time of 14:21.00.

Dylan Rodgers won the open flight of the pole vault and finished with 5.16m 16'11", good for No, 3 all-time at Cornell.
• VJ Vanderlipe finished third in the open pole vault with a personal best height of 4.91m.

Perry Mackinnon finished 10th in the invite 10000 with a time of 29:11.46, the fourth-best time in school history.
• In the 1,500 finals, freshman
Damian Hackett (3:43.70) and sophomore
Rhys Hammond (3:43.79) took sixth and seventh in personal best times. Hackett's time was a school freshman record and the fourth-fastest time in school history, while Hammond's mark places him fifth all-time at Cornell.

Shane Racey took sixth in the pole vault with a personal best 5.11m (16-9 1/4), tied for fourth all-time.

Christian Martin grabbed third in the 110 hurdles in a personal best of 13.96 in a race that saw the top four finishers finish within 0.03 of each other. His time is tied for sixth-fastest in school history.
• Martin also was seventh in the 400 hurdles (53.83).
• The men's 4x400 reached the podium with a third in 3:10.96.
