ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell women's ice hockey defender
Rory Guilday has been named to the USCHO All-Rookie team. SHe is the first Cornellian to earn a national all-rookie honor since Micah Zandee-Hart in 2016.
A second-team All-Ivy League selection in 2021-22, Guilday also earned ECAC Hockey All-Rookie honors. She blocked 63 shots, second on the team, and two of her seven goals proved to be game winners. Guilday ranked fourth on the team in points (16) with seven goals and nine assists for the Big Red (14-14-2). All three of her multi-point efforts came in Ivy League contests.
Guilday was one of two ECAC Hockey defenders on the All-Freshman team, joining Yale's Vita Poniatovskaia.
